Our sixth home is at the corner of Main and Pennsylvania. This house was in the historical district and had to be renovated according to guidelines established by the Belleville Historical Society. It had been built originally around 1860. We took off the stucco exterior, revealing the original brick, tuckpointed every joint, re-did the exterior, and re-stored the interior (which had beautiful hardwood floors). It is a showpiece!
This home also features the original brick on the east interior wall of the living room. Three bedrooms upstairs, a large kitchen, dining room and living room on the main floor, two bathrooms, and substantial basement for storage provide a lot of living space.
